1959 Berkeley B65

Up for sale is my 1959 Berkeley B65. Built in Britain for about 4 years, these cars are fairly rare in the states.

The body is fiberglass monocoque riveted to an aluminum & steel “punt” or frame. The entire car is 4’ wide by about 10’ long and weighs under 700 lbs.

Powered by an air-cooled 328cc two-stroke engine with a 3-speed transmission. The engine has compression but I can only get spark in one cylinder so there is a short or broken wire somewhere.

Front wheel drive with fully independent coil-over suspension, these cars were ahead of their time and have a cult following in the UK.

This car will draw a crowd when you pull up on cruise night.
