Original 383, 4 bbl, Factory 4 Speed 

This is a very rare custom ordered 1967 Plymouth Satellite with the original 383 and a factory 4 speed. It was ordered with no power steering, no A/C, no power brakes, no side trim, a limited slip 3.23 rear end and bucket seats, all of which are still with it today. (See photo above of the decoded/labeled data plate). It's unlikely you will ever find another one optioned this way.

 

 The previous owner stated it had the engine freshly rebuilt with approximately 1000 miles put on it since, although there is no paperwork for the rebuild.  It doesn't leak, smoke or overheat and runs beautifully. It is the original 383 that was in the car when it was new-see engine numbers/date codes in the photos. It runs and drives just the way it should and needs nothing mechanically.  IT IS VERY FAST AND SMOOTH. 

 

The interior is very nicely redone and very original looking. The small dash cap has a couple of cracks.  The carpet is redone beautifully with an excellent headliner. 

The body is straight, has never been hit, and has been painted in the original color with only minor spots of bondo and surface rust from poor prep work. Other than that this car is rust free on the body and frame with perfect floors, rockers and trunk. It still wears all of its original sheetmetal. 

 

 The car runs beautifully and is a reliable driver. Everything works on the vehicle with the exception of the horn. It has new tires with less than 500 miles on them.
