1915 White Motor Company Automobile Brochure

Scarce 1915 White Motor Cars Hardcover Sales Brochure “Incomparable”

This is an original 1915 hardcover factory sales catalog from the White Motor Company of Cleveland, Ohio.

This substantial 19 page volume presents the company’s gasoline automobile lineup under the long-used slogan “Incomparable,” with detailed color illustrations of the Four-Thirty Touring, Four-Thirty Roadster, Four-Thirty Town Car, Four-Thirty Sedan, Four-Forty-Five Touring, and Four-Forty-Five Semi-Touring, Four-Forty-Five Limousine, Four-Forty-Five Landaulet Limousine, the Six-Sixty Limousine, and the Six-Sixty Touring models, along with chassis details, mechanical specifications, standard equipment, and color options.

Why this catalog is scarce:

Original White Motor Company passenger-car sales literature from the mid-1910s is genuinely uncommon on the collector market.

While White produced both steam and gasoline vehicles and later became better known for trucks, complete hardcover catalogs specifically covering the 1915 gasoline models appear only rarely. Most surviving White sales material from this era is either earlier steam-car literature, later truck-focused pieces, or institutional copies held in libraries. Public offerings of intact 1915 hardcover examples with the original binding and color plates are infrequent, making this a desirable reference for serious White collectors and early automotive historians.

Condition:

The cover shows expected age-related fading, edge wear, and surface marks. The binding has moderate damage and some looseness, though the pages remain complete and the interior illustrations are strong and clear. A solid, usable survivor of a low-production original sales piece.

This is not a common dealer giveaway brochure - it is a scarce piece of primary-source White Motor Company history from the final years of the company’s passenger-car production.
