1939 Streamliner C-16

Description
Back in 2011 Glenn started collecting parts, chassis and engines for a car inspired by the 1934-35 Mercedes W25 racing car. The body design of the W25 was fascinating; therefore, the idea of building a streamliner one day, a pre-war streamliner quickly grabbed the two. For such some Buick Straight-8 engines were collected but a clear vision of shape was missing. It took a few more years until the vision of the Streamliner became more concrete and got finally kicked off in 2019. However, the inspiration was Frank Lockhart's Stutz Black Hawk Streamliner from 1928, but the boys wanted a Streamliner with a straight 16-cylinder engine.
