Head Removal & Head Gaskets

When I looked at my car I identified 3 issues that really bothered me. One was the head which was repaired with JBL weld. Fortunately Bill gave me another head with the car. It is going out to get magnufluxed today. However, I would like to replace the head gasket also. Are they available?

So Gasket City sold the last two NOS head gaskets he had to Mark and I. I believe that Olsen still has them as John was able to get one.

I have updated the title of this thread to include "Head Removal".

This was an absolute ordeal. We spent about a month spraying the bolts with WD30 and gently trying to pry the head up. We also tried applying constant and increasing upward pressure using an engine hoist attached to the head. The way we finally got the head off was by drilling out the head bolts one at a time. This required more than a few hardened drills as they would go dull.
