Is the C4 ZR-1 the most undervalued Corvette right now?
I think the 1990-1995 ZR-1 might be the best-kept secret in the Corvette world right now. You can still find clean examples in the $25-35K range, which is incredible when you consider what you're getting: the legendary LT5 — a dual-overhead-cam, 32-valve V8 designed with Lotus Engineering that made 375 hp (405 hp after 1993). It was genuinely exotic technology for its era and could hang with Ferraris and Porsches costing three times as much. The "King of the Hill" set speed records at Bonneville and dominated its class at Le Mans. With values of C2s and big-block C3s skyrocketing, I feel like the ZR-1 is next in line for a major appreciation. Anyone else feel the same way, or am I just trying to justify buying another Corvette?
