It is interesting that Abner was still involved to some extent in 1933. I thought he was in New Zealand or England working on busses at that point. He also went to Germany I believe.

Do you have this one?
@alsancle I have various Clymer softbound books but not this one. I do have John Bentley's very nice 144 page "Oldtime Steam Cars" published in 1953. Let me know if you have any interest in it.

I dont have it but need it.. thats a pic of my Doble F-30!!!!

Thanks Alan, I think I have that one. When I went through my steam car phase I bought everything in site. I have quite a few of the "Steam Automobile" and the other club one also, name is not coming to me. "Steam Power"?
Floyd Clymer was writing all the manufacturers in the 20s and 30s when he was a kid to get as much free stuff as possible which he later used in his books. A legend in the early antique car hobby he published over a 100 books. Print quality is questionable but you will find some obscure photos and stuff in there.

I have a number of his books. Interesting tid bits of info, not sure how accurate some time, but basically the only game in town for a while in the 40s and 50s.
