"The fiberglass body and frame were donated by Fiberfab but Crank was not successful in achieving speeds sufficient to surpass the Stanley "Rocket" of 1906. In 1982 he sold it to Robert E. Barber of Arvada, Colorado, Vice President of Barber-Nichols Engineering. Barber-Nichols were specialists in exotic steam power, with contracts with the Department of Energy for steam applications."
Interesting the body was made by Fiberfab, famous for those 1970s kits that never seemed to be finished.

@BuickGuy68 A rarely seen completed Fiberfab avenger. Almost as rare as the steam land speed car!
