Tesla FSD vs Rivian Autonomy. Spoiler: FSD is better.

Solid article from CNBC comparing the Tesla Full Self Driving to the Rivian Autonomy system. Summary is that Rivian is better than everyone else and Tesla is better than Rivian. The Rivian system (as well as most of the others) is Highway driving only.

Not surprising. The legacy manufacturers will never catch up. Rivian might but the Tesla software is hard to compete with if that is why you are buying.

I do not believe there is any argument that Tesla has the best self driving solution right now. My guess is that it stays that way based on the approach they have taken. Elon Musk always wins.
