Lot #213,353.One of very few Studebakers recognized by CCCA as a true Classic, this is a rare car, produced from July-October 1928; This is late in that production with body number 994 so likely <1000 Victoria’s made; I only found two others in the Intl Antique Studebaker Club directory a few years ago.The car has all original drivetrain and interior; dad and I have owned it since 86, and a friend owned it since the 60’s, who bought it from original owner. He repainted it in the 70s I believe. I’m 60, and remember this car standing out as “special” at Car Club events as a kid before WE bought it. :-)Happy to answer questions! . What a unique and beautiful car. It will be interesting to watch on Bring a Trailer, early stock cars seem hit and miss on that site, while exotics go through the roof on bidding and pricing.

Am sure it will find a good home, thanks for posting pictures here.

I would have guessed that this might be a soft sell, but 14,500 is a little surprising. The buyer should be happy.

My latest dealings with BAT. They pretty much insist on a no reserve listing.

Potentially leaving the seller in a bad place.

I think you would see the same thing from any of land based auction companies. They are all in the business of selling the cars, not advertising them.
