If you post more photos... and give us more information about the condition of engine, transmission, tires, interior... and more, Better, close up,  photos... will tell us a lot more about the condition of what you are trying to sell here....

I for one would be interested in a Locomobile in good running condition... at a fair price....

I sent this seller a message 2 days ago about price with no response. I would like to buy this car.

Just spoke with the owner's son. He'll take some photos in a couple days. He's about a hour away from his dad's place.

I got first dibs. Pricing forthcoming.

No other information was put forth by the son. Need to speak to the dad. Son said they had a dozen cars and were 'thinning the herd'. Mentioned some 'wood work' had been performed.

Tom, Do you have any additional history or status on the mechanics/bodywork?

The son said they re-did some wood work, including the wheels but wasn't specific about anything else. He's supposed to drive over to his dad's in a couple days to take some photos for me. I made it clear I want to purchase the car.

Keep us posted. I understand that the Jr 8 Locomobile is a fine automobile. I owned a couple of Little Marmon 4 passenger speedsters, which are actually very equivalent to the Locomobile Jr 8, and was very pleased with the performance. Keep us posted on I potential purchase.

If anyone can get the car manufacture number on data plate it would help  in filling out the  Durant era Locomobile data registry.  I think this car was in Los Angeles previously. thanks

This car had a long thread on it back in OCT. 2018... it was for sale several times on an eBay auction....  it never made reserve and was bid up to $15,590..... here is a link to the discussion;

If a name is misspelled, future searches of 

the forum would miss this car.  The forum

keeps information for many years, to the 

benefit of any car fan searching.
