1937 Packard Twelve 1507 Rumble Seat Coupe Fully Restored and Caravan Ready

SOLD 1/4/2012This 1937 Packard Twelve Model 1507 Coupe was fully restored in about 1990 from an excellent and honest original car. Since then, it has been successfully shown at PAC National Events as well as the Meadowbrook Concours. Recently, the car has been fully serviced both cosmetically and mechanically. Yesterday, we had the car out on the interstate and ran it at 75 miles per hour and it had plenty of power to spare!!! The car shifts easily, it brakes like a modern car and the steering is light and responsive. Basically, this car exhibits all the traits that a well sorted, Packard Twelve should.Cosmetically, the car is excellent. The jet black paint is like new with no bubbling, cracking, or crazing anywhere. The gloss is even throughout. The fit and finish on the body, doors, hood, rumble lid, etc are excellent. The chrome is excellent as well. The interior was properly restored to original specs and is like new including the dashboard, woodgraining, steering wheel, etc. Everything on this car work. It still retains the original Packard data tag (Chassis Number: 1038-214). 1937 was the first year for independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes which make this car a joy to drive and is the reason why so many collectors who enjoy long distance touring like the 1937 Packards.
