48 Packard Station Sedan

Today is my first day at this forum, and I'm going to jump right in here as I am already knee deep in replacing ALL the wood work on a 48 Packard woody.I will eventually learn to navigate my way around your site, and no doubt there is at least one thread existing already where many of my questions can be found, but finding this forum has me ready to make saw dust, so if there is someone here kind enough to lead me in the right direction, please help.The car is pretty much intact, and maybe 60-75% of the wood also, but totally rotted, warped, and otherwise unuseable except for partial template material. I have a NOS right rear door panel, perfect shape and ready to install, made apparently of maple. (the original wood has gone way beyond being recognizable as to species.I can see that most of the wood parts around the perimiters are lap joined, with dowels joining the horizontals in the lower door panels.That much won't be too duanting... but the rear gate assembly has pretty much gone back to it's original carbon form, so no help there.I guess what might help me the most would either be a conversation with someone else who has gone down this path, or pictures of the back of the car which might give some detail hints.In advance, thanks to anyone willing to share some information with me.Kirk

I'd advise heading to the Packard section - the Station Sedan is a Packard favorite but not a Classic
