For Sale: 1914-15 SILVER GHOST ENGINE !

UPDATE 11/29/05 The R~R Engine is up and running!!!(on test bed set-up) We Removed + Cleaned sump pan + checked out all electrical systems (origional generator is jerry rigged) Filled radiator with water + oiled valve gear + added new battery. Cranked her up and she is running fine!!! This is one Fantastic + Impressive Engine!!!

I have received several calls from persons who wish to use this engine as a privte Museum display engine!!! I still firmly believe that it belongs back in a Great Period Ghost Auto!!! I wish it to be used as such!!! (Many Ghost owners take World Tours in their cars... Every now and then sadly an engine will fail..) Also from time to time a great chassis is found incomplete and in a very sad state... I think this is where this engine belongs!!!

Good for you. Stick to your guns. All that will happen with these "museum" people & they'll keep it five years & they try to sell it for twice what they paid you! There are too many museums & not enough cars on the road. You know Brad, through the Rolls Royce Owners Club there is a Silver Ghost Association. You might want to contact them. I imagine there is someone there putting a chassis together. Just do a google search for "Silver Ghost association" and it will take you right there. As with any high end car club, you have to beware of the idiots with more money than brains. I hope you sell the engine to someone who has a genuine interest in it & understands it's inner workings.
