Warner T83 Gearbox

I have a 1935 Hupmobile that has a Warner T83 gearbox . Is there any literature ie. workshop manual for this gearbox. Is there anywhere in the States I can get parts for it ? I wish to overhaul it myself and get parts shipped to me eg. Sincro cones thrust washers and gears and shafts etc. I am in Australia.

Ken,

Did you find the info you needed? I rebuilt mine from my D618 last year and worked through Mac Van Pelt to get parts. http://www.vanpeltsales.com/ Input and output shafts are unique, but cluster gear, Low/rev, bearings and thrust washers etc. were same as early Ford V8.

Rebuild was pretty straight forward and car shifts good now. Old Gears were really beat up so I had to replace the cluster gear, low reverse gear and synchro sleeve. I also had the clutch rebuilt at Fort Wayne Clutch and replaced the rear main seal which was seeping.
