Post a photo. Original nos caps should be available for less than 250 dollars. Best guess is there is not a modern substitute. You would need to change the distributor, so staying stock will probably be less expensive.

Even better, please provide the Delco distributor number from the oval tag, 3 numbers + a letter, on the left side of the tag.  On the right side of the tag is a serial number which is NOT important.  I agree with Ed as to using the correct cap.

The rotors with the tails on them are particularly nice as they allow for full movement of the spark advance/retard.
