As a point of interest, if it is an early AA, is it one of the small number of LeBaron speedsters, as mentioned by Hugo Pfau in his book The Custom Body Era? These were recognisably quite different to the later production Black Hawk speedsters, which are naturally better known. There is fair likelihood that Mr Vanderbilt had a LeBaron version, for geographical as well as social reasons.

My Speedster has a tag on it that says American Body Company of Philadelphia. I don't know if that makes it as good as a LeBaron.

It could be designed by LeBaron, and built by American. The American body Co. was a quality bldr.

How do I determine if LeBaron designed it?
