Has anyone done some comparison shopping for a 1941 Cadillac Wiring Harness ? I am thinking of installing a new one in the 60 Special (w/automatic trans.) and am curious about your likes/dislikes with your choice. Also, this is a highly used tour car.J.M. Mereness(513) 531-2913 hCincinnati, Ohio

John, I favor either Naragansett or Rhode Island wire, both (ironically) in Rhode Island. One word of advice: don't order your harness from a catalogue by year/make/model--send your old harness in and tell them to replicate it, and include any modifications you might want like turn signals, etc. Manufacturers made running changes to wiring harnesses thru out a particular model year, and you may not "have enough wires" with an off the shelf harness--it's happened to me.

I installed a complete harness from Rhode Island Wire in my '47 Packard with O/D and Electromatic clutch. It was a perfect match to the original and I did not have one problem with the installation. I am very satisfied.
