help with identifying this car please

I came across this car while on a walk through the bush. Could anyone please help me to identify it. I realise that there is not much of it.ThanksNorm

Only a guess here, Norm. It looks like the small Volvo, the P120 or 210 perhaps. Might be an old Peugot but its too hard to tell. I am guessing off of the 'hand hold' on the dash and the shape of the rear window. Probably a coupe in any case.

I'd bet money it was a VW Karmann Ghia. The side window area, the front fender line, and the dashboard passenger hand hold are what make me think VW.

I agree, Mike. Plus the door striker plate is VW.
