Old gas line: Clean or replace?

I have a 49 Packard Custom 8 just about ready to go back together. I replaced the gas tank with a 'Renu' because the old tank was a bunch of holes held together with bits of metal. Should I clean or replace the existing copper gas line? One person already suggested replacement. All suggestions and/or advice gratefully received.Thanks, Clay

Copper fuel line tends to become "work-hardened" due to age and vibration; and is then subject to failure (cracking).

I would suggest replacement.

Replace!!! You''ll be sure it's working well. Sometimes it's just a little thing like this that cause trouble...
