Dear ghotson,Excellent source for all sorts of fasteners and parts and pieces including what you mentioned is Restoration Specialties & Supply p.o. box 328,Windber Pa. 15963 814-467-9842 Last catalog i got was 3.00.diz
Those are all sufficent sources for wire on and windlace. Are you trying to match leather or a special fabric? If so, you can have some of your own leather made into wire on. Years ago there was (I think) an Enfield Restorations in Enfield CT that could take your leather and make it into windlace and thin material to make cordwelt. Bill Hirch may do this too, best wishes, Todd C
Thanks Dale, I'll check them out.
I am trying to find a cloth edgewelt and wire-on that will harmonize with the upholstery itself. I'm sure I will not be able to get an exact match for the original. This was a plush-type cloth with a zig-zag pattern.
There are a couple of different samples that I received from the mentioned suppliers that would work OK, I'm trying to see if anybody has any other suggestions.
Thank You for your response.
Dear ghotson,You could also try S.M.S. in Portland,Oregon.Phone# in Hemmings diz
