Small change, the FREE concert on Friday night will now be The McCartney Project a Paul McCartney and Wings tribute group. Check them out on the web...they are terrific. Some special surprises will be in store for everyone.
Steve,
For those who want to enter a car for both AACA and CCCA judging, will there be a joint club banquet afterwards? It doesn't appear to be clear from the information published by each club so far and the cost per person is different for each. Not sure how the awards presentations would work either.
Thanks,
David
CCCA will give out awards on the field during the day. The BBQ is where the awards for AACA will be given out and members from both clubs are invited for sure! The AACA registration is the registration for the BBQ at the end of the day.
To our friends at CCCA: Please do not procrastinate in sending in your registration to this special event. It will be a great weekend for you with world class museums literally next door, free trailer parking, free motorhome parking, great auction, flea market, super concert with open bar, and a chance to win awards in BOTH AACA and CCCA on the same day!!! The sooner we have an idea on our attendance the sooner we can lay out the show field area. Seriously, a lot of work has gone into this event for your benefit and we hope to see some great support by both clubs!
Remember: You must register with both clubs in order to get judged by both! Thanks.
Hi Steve, The CCCA annual meeting is next week in Reno, Nevada, and I know that this great joint event will be mentioned many times over the four day meeting.
It will also be brought up at the annual members meeting, the banquet, as well as at the National Directors meeting. Many CCCA regional directors will be in attendance and will
also spread the word to their members when they return after the annual meeting is over.
Thanks Walt. We are looking forward to a great weekend with CCCA!
I am just back from the CCCA annual meeting which took place in Reno, Nevada - an amazing 4 days, with well over 200 people in attendance, and some outstanding trips to visit private car collections .
The joint AACA/CCCA meet was mentioned in a page ad in the booklet everyone in attendance at the meeting received when they registered and was also mentioned at every meeting (Board of Directors, General membership, banquet etc) over the four days.
To join in the conversation, you must be a club member.
