Paint codes

How important is it to have the correct color and paint code on a car when judging for a CCCA or AACA meet? Is there any flexibility as long as the colro was correct for that year? Also, does the incorrect color warrant a discount on sale? If so, what percentage? Thanks

CCCA does not deduct points for any color choice. Color does affect price, but it cuts both ways. It's your car, paint it the way you like. It makes sense to see if factory or era correct colors please you. Ed
