Classic Packards are listed by model number, not body number (in the printed directory, anyway. I'm not sure where you're getting your information from).
All 1937 Packard Super Eights are Classic... 1500 to 1502

i believe that these are the correct model numbers, but please correct me if i"m wrong, i am thinking that my 1014b is a 1502 but not sure i can't find no referance to the numbers 1502 anywere on the car,it does have a 139 inch wheelbase, and it is a super 8, how many super 8's models does your information show , my information shows 15,including the ones that i listed. my information comes from Niel R. anderson 714/990-0405 IFC

The numbers that you gave are body-style numbers. The 139-inch wheelbase would signify the 1502 model.

Your "serial number" plate would indicate your body style number, 1014B, followed by its production number, which started with 201. There will be NO reference to 1502 on the car.

You're welcome. I should add that your production number is for that body style only. The other body styles' production numbers also started with 201.

Did all 1937 Packard Super Eight & Twelve series start with 201 and then go up from there?

Yes for the senior cars. The production sequence # for the juniors began at 1001.

And when starting with 201, did they go up sequentially (201, 202, 203, ect) or did they skip and go 201, 203, 205, ect.?

They started at 1 and went up sequentially... 201, 202, 203,....
