I'm of no help on a K, (Zephyr guy) But you are a lucky man! The big Lincolns are incredible cars! Pics? Gotta see some pictures!
Ray Theriault in Connecticut is extremely knowledgeable regarding these cars. Even though he's into the big Lincolns, he's a member of LZOC as well, so you might find contact info for him through that source as well.
Marc Ohm in St. Louis knows the K models quite well. He is retiring from his regular job, but is a great guy who knows his stuff!
the "K' Lincolns are awesome!
Thanks Guys for the info. I plan to bring the car to Hershey Just for fun. It will be in the red field if your going to be there stop on by. Jeff

Hi Jeff-I just finished a total restoration on a 1936 K LeBaron bodied coupe last Summer for a customer in PA. I might be able to help you with some advice on your project and Ray Thierault is also very knowledgeable on K Models and has some extra parts.
Speaking of parts, I made duplicates of the plastic door locking knob and sleeve and the shift knob if you need. also had a new gas cap cast from the original.
