need 7.00 x 21 tires

Hello all,Can anyone recommend a source for 7.00 x 21" tires for my 1926 Packard? I bought Lesters last time and am not happy with them. They wear out very fast for one thing. I see Michelin and Dunlop at some of the larger tire companies for nearly $500 each. Needless to say, I'd like something more reasonably priced.Any sugestions appreciated. --Scott

I found myself in the same dilema needing 7.00x21" tires for my Springfield Rolls Royce. I didn't like the tread pattern(too modern looking) of the Lesters and was told that with such a heavy car they wouldn't wear well. I bit the bullet and spent about 3,000.00 for six Dunlops/tubes. I must say, after about 10,000 miles of driving in the last three years, they are absolutely wonderful tires, showing no wear, great handling characteristics, and look great on the car. I would recommend them.

Scott: These brands seem to be the only choices around!!! Unless you want to run truck tires!!!

Then you could go with Denman 6ply...
