I "second" '53's comments, with the additional comment that my own '51 thru '53 Packards had standard "drop center" wheels with one piece flange and rim. <P>To my knowledge, it would not have been possible to order a "separate flange and rim" and/or "split rim" type wheel for ANY American car in 1951. <P>So...again...three cheers for Chris's being interested enough to do some research and come up with that RINTEX article. And three "boos" for RINTEX for such utter bovine droppings.......very unfair of them to do that to well-meaning car buffs..lie Chris!<P>Pete Hartmann
