Antique Rolls Royce Paint Care

Looking for paint care tips for 1930-40 Rolls. My friend inherited the car from an elderly gentleman. This gentleman used to use some type of "wax?" or cream that resembled a jelly. It came in a traditional wax can (pop-top or lid) and had a yellow label. He would use three different rags for the application through removal process (I add this comment because this is all the information my friend supplied to me). This wax maybe around 15-20 years old from when my friend first remembers seeing being used. It never left swirls. Can anyone help identify the product? We both, my friend and I, want to care for and maintain this classic, pretty much the same way as the original owner had.

I've had very satisfactory results with various Maguires products. Their "Quick Detailer" liquid gives me good results with without a lot of work. Their other products are also excellent. Since they make so many formulations, it is a little confusing trying to figure out which ones to use. They have a huge variety. The local distributor helped me select some that have become my favorites. You might contact your local distributor for some advice.<P>Of course there are many other brands of fine auto care products out there as well.
